Virginia Berry – YazBerry Fashion

Using mostly recycled material, Virginia Berry hand makes an assortment of items including: purses, jewelry, clothing, table liners, and fabric colored journals. Honing her skills creating theatre costumes and participating in fashion shows during college, Virginia formed YazBerry Fashion after graduating.

Most of her items are one of kind. Virginia prefers not to mass produce items because it impedes her creative process, and since many of her products are made from recycled material—it is often difficult to find the same materials used to make a particular item again.

Using a multitude of techniques, Virginia makes purses from old dresses, dresses from old sweaters, and old kimonos into table liners. Much of her jewelry is made from objects she has found—she has even used old records to make earrings! Her specialty is in the elegant and the unusual

Come check out YazBerry Fashion this Saturday at the Riverwalk Market Fair. And remember, all items are sustainable and made entirely by hand!
