Music by Union Crossing, Jewelry, Art and Fine Crafts, Handmade Natural Soaps, Local Produce and Artisan Foods at the July 21st Riverwalk Market Fair

Music from Union Crossing; fresh local produce and artisan foods, the area’s finest art and crafts, all at Riverwalk Market Fair, Saturday July 21 from 9 am to 1 pm, rain or shine, in historic downtown Northfield’s Bridge Square.

Seasonal Produce from Local Farmers, Artisan Foods, Art and Fine Craft

Local farmers have summer produce including fresh-picked romaine, green and red butter lettuce, cabbage, Swiss chard, arugula, kale, kohlrabi, fennel, snow peas, spinach, radishes, green onions, snow peas, potatoes, zucchini, cilantro, broccoli, and herbs, as well as local soil-grown tomatoes, flower bouquets,  and handmade natural soaps.  Artisan foods include fresh-baked breads, delicious sweet and savory pastries, baklava, cookies and cupcakes, shave ice, jams and jellies, and locally roasted coffee.

Jewelry, wood hand-crafted home accessories, fused glass art, pottery, fiber art, and photography are among the fine art and fine craft for sale.  All art and fine craft is original work, designed and created by the artists.

Featured Farmer:  Cannon River Fiber Farm

            Julie Johnson and her husband Tim Gallagher enjoy raising alpacas and angora goats for fiber on their farm.   They are first time vendors at Riverwalk Market Fair and have enjoyed getting to know the customers.   The couple take pride in raising and caring for animals by insuring quality nutrition and a safe loving environment.  To view some of the products they sell go to https//www.etsy.com/shop/CannonRiverFiberFarm

 

Featured Artist:  Crow’s Natural Body Products

            This is the first year for Ron Crow and Crow’s Natural Body Products at the Riverwalk Market Fair.  The Crow family started making natural body products to help fix some of their dry skins problems and through the years have developed new items.  They produce everything body product from skin lotion, soap, body butters, lotion bars, body butters, lip balm, and have even developed natural products for dogs!  You can find a sampling of their products at www.crowssoaps.com

Curt Johnson and Sam Ryden make up the group Union Crossing.  Curt is on piano while Sam plays the guitar; both enjoy playing anything from Americana, folk, blue grass, and much more.
