Featured Artist: Garry Erickson of The Ruff Edge
For Garry Erickson, woodworking has always been therapy. After making wine racks for their family room to rave reviews, a business was born. So much so that Garry has recently taken the plunge into full-time woodworking!
The wood that Garry uses to make wine racks, mirrors, tables and other home accessories is repurposed barn wood, simply clear-coated so the weathered color and roughness of the wood is retained. Garry says, “It is very rewarding to take old and otherwise discarded lumber from torn down barns and out buildings and give it new life in a functional art form.” Garry also does custom work, and sells on Etsy.
Featured Artist: Angie Frawley of Angie’s Accessories
Maker of jewelry and all things cute, Angie and her mom, Marcy Goss, love to meet new people and visit with those they’ve met during their years as vendors at Riverwalk Market Fair.
Angie makes beaded jewelry and pendant necklaces, bookmarks, flowered headbands, as well as colorful headbands made from recycled t-shirts.
