Featured Farmer:  Twin Oaks Orchard

Pat McBride and his wife Jan have owned their farm for twelve years and have been developing their two-acre orchard ever since.  They offer naturally grown apples with no synthetic input.  Pat works hard at growing good fruit that, although not always cosmetically perfect, is free of synthetic pesticides, fungicides, etc.  Their farm and orchard are located near Wanamingo.

Northfield Library Book Bike at the market

The Northfield Book Bike has been at almost every Riverwalk Market Fair this summer and early fall.  The bike is a combination of a bike that pulls a trailer with a two-sided book shelf.  The Book Bike has been a great hit in the community this summer; hitting up many different areas in town and different events.  It’s become a staple of the market and is a large attraction for kids of all ages!
