Seasonal Produce from Local Farmers, Artisan Foods, Art and Fine Crafts

Local farmers have summer produce including tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, green peppers,  sweet peppers, eggplant, patty pan squash, romaine, green and red butter lettuce, cabbage, Swiss chard, arugula, kale, kohlrabi, fennel, snow peas, spinach, radishes, green onions, potatoes, cilantro, broccoli, and herbs, as well as,  flower bouquets, farm fresh eggs, and handmade natural soaps.

Artisan foods include fresh-baked breads, delicious sweet and savory pastries, cookies and cupcakes, jams and jellies, and locally roasted coffee.

Jewelry, fiber art, watercolor paintings, photography, glass art, wood-working, and pottery are among the fine art and fine crafts for sale.  All art and fine crafts are original work, designed and created by the artists.

Featured Farmer:  Ruthie’s Kitchen

Ruth Edstrom creates wonderful jams/jellies, baked goods, candy, and pickles in her kitchen.  She provides these fine goodies at Riverwalk Market Fair once to twice a month.  When asked what’s great about the market she said “Customers! Environment feels like a European market.”

Featured Artist: Glynnis Lessing Ceramics

Glynnis strives to make beautiful, yet highly functional pots that will find an intimate niche in the daily lives of the people who take them home.  Her work is created with the hope that it will be aesthetically pleasing to people who will choose it for their use instead of the mass-produced items.  She’s had a lifetime love of ceramics since she was nine and continues to produce great forms of art.
