Featured Artist Garry Erickson of The Ruff Edge

Jill Erickson The Ruff Edge 2015-08-22.smAfter making wine racks for their family room to resounding acclaim, Garry Erickson found that a business was born. The wood Garry uses in his wine racks and furniture is repurposed barn wood, which is simply clear-coated so the weathered color and roughness of the wood is retained. Garry says, “It is very rewarding to take old and otherwise discarded lumber from torn down barns and out buildings and give it new life in a functional art form.” Garry also does custom work and sells on Etsy.
