Farmers have early summer produce such as fresh-picked salad greens, head lettuce, spinach, snap peas, rhubarb, radishes, kale, swiss chard, cilantro, and green onions, along with tomatoes, a variety of bedding plants, flowers, maple syrup, and goat milk soap. Strawberries are in their short-lived season–get them while you can! Artisan foods include fresh-baked breads, delicious sweet and savory pastries, cupcakes, locally roasted coffee, and salsa.

Ceramics, fused glass art, watercolor paintings, metal garden art, woodworking, fiber art, rubber stamps, henna body art, and jewelry are among the art and fine crafts for sale.

Stoke Coffee Roasters

Stoke Coffee RoastersHometown coffee aficionados Cody Larson and fiancé Caitlyn Borek recently started a roasting business, and are excited to share their fresh-roasted, specialty coffees at Riverwalk Market Fair this summer. With a sourcing model centered on seasonality, their selection changes with harvest times around the world, keeping your taste-buds on their toes with a new coffee every few weeks. In addition to whole bean coffee, Cody and Caitlyn will be brewing up pour-overs, and serving cold brewed coffee on tap.

Judy Saye-Willis and Tom Willis of Sunset Studios

Judy is a multi media visual artist whose work includes handcrafted one-of-a-kind artisan jewelry, fiber art and book art. She uses high quality materials that are rich in color and texture. The culmination of her life’s varied experiences is reflected in the diversity of her work.  http://saye-willis.comSaye-Willis, Tom and Judy/

Tom says, “I am a potter and I go to my studio to have quiet conversations with myself about my work. I apply skill and craftsmanship to the unlimited possibilities of the clay form. I strive to create one-of-a-kind functional pottery and continue to improve the artistic quality of my work. My pottery is made to be used and enjoyed.”

A commonality in their work is the variation and unpredictability found in working with glazes, and natural dyes such as rhubarb root and walnut. Experimentation becomes a given.

Youth Activity by Health Finders

HealthFinders, a local nonprofit providing quality healthcare alternatives, advocacy, and wellness education to our community, will be sharing information and activities about healthy lifestyles. Stop by for a prize!
